The Russell is a truly unique shoe: Traditional eyelets are replaced with leather tabs, creating a more "exposed" lacing style and resulting in what we call a "ghillie" shoe. Combine that with the brogue-bordered wingtip adelaide pattern, all executed in a combination of museum calfskin and medley tweed (still with us??) and what you have on your hands is one serious shoe!
While the Russell might look like a normal oxford at first glance, it obviously is far from that. The colors of this model lend themselves to being styled like a typical brown shoe, but you'll want to bear in mind its bold detailing when deciding how (and when) to wear this uniquely designed pair.
